Yesterday afternoon I went to a shop to buy clothes.
shāng商diàn店lǐ里de的yī衣fu服fēi非cháng常duō多，yán颜sè色yě也hěn很piào漂liàng亮。
The shop had tons of clothes, in really beautiful colours.
wǒ我kàn看jiàn见yī一jiàn件hóng红de的yī衣fu服，fēi非cháng常xǐ喜huan欢。
I spotted a red one and fell in love with it.

I asked the assistant how much it was, and she told me eight hundred yuan.

I thought that was too expensive, so I asked if she could make it a bit cheaper.

The assistant asked how much I wanted to pay.

I told her I'd take it for five hundred.

She laughed and said six hundred would work.

I decided six hundred was fine, and bought it.
chuān穿shàng上xīn新yī衣fu服，wǒ我fēi非cháng常gāo高xìng兴。
Putting on the new clothes, I felt great.

My wife thinks it looks lovely too.

I saved two hundred yuan, but I don't have much money left now.

Next time I buy clothes, I'll ask around at a few more shops.
