到

至 on the left means to arrive, and 刀, a knife, on the right gives the sound. Xu Shen wrote 到, 至也: to reach. So the character is an arrival with a knife parked beside it doing nothing but sounding right. 到 is the everyday word for arriving, while 至 survives mostly in writing. 到了, 找到, 看到.
